Have you ever seen a picture of the massive amount of straws collecting in our oceans? Think about straws for a moment. You use them once and then they go into the trash. Think about how many straws are being given out in all the restaurants daily!
One day, I realized that even though I could not clean up all the oceans, I could change this one habit and stop my contribution to the problem. That was the last straw (plastic straw, that is)! I began to use that glass straw!
Joyce is a 50-something entrepreneur, author, nature lover and breast cancer survivor passionate about helping people
create sustainable habits for them, their families and the environment.
Joyce loves nature. She believes this: "If you see nature, you will love it. If you love nature, you will want to protect it. If you want to protect it, you will be willing to make small changes in your life to do so."
